Calling (not screaming at) all parents!  The Splash! class at New Life will be studying the book ScreamFree Parenting by Hal Edward Runkel. ScreamFree parenting challenges us to move beyond many of the child-centered, technique-based approaches by focusing on yourself, grow yourself up and calm yourself down.  By staying both calm and connected with your kids, you begin to operate less out of your deepest fears and more out of your highest principles, revolutionizing your relationships in the process.

The Splash! class at New Life is designed as an opportunity for parents to encourage each other and learn together as they engage in their role as spiritual guide for their children.  0-3 year olds are welcome to come to the class with their parents.  There will be age appropriate activities for them.  Any older children are invited to join the older kids in Sunday School.  ScreamFree Parenting will run from Sunday, January 10-March 28 from 10:45-11:45 am.  If you want to read along during the week, you can find the book on amazon.com or half.com.  Otherwise, just come and enjoy the discussion.  Questions?  Please contact Katie at 651.429.2960.  New Life is located at 6000 N 148th St, ¼ mile East of Hwy 61 in Hugo.
